No. 2 (05) June 30, 2024

We are giving away number 5 (2 this year) and making cucumbers. From tea and views outside the window, through brainstorming, to deep discussions - we create not only a quarterly magazine, but also a unique community. Meet our team: Ula Habersack, Paulina Janikowska, Piotr Janulek, Marzena Malacka, Aneta Niewiadomska, Małgorzata Nitek, Sara Stawarczyk, Tadeusz Łuczak and Alicja Wręczycka-Siarek. We share a passion for coaching and education. We share not only ideas, but also life - sometimes we are accompanied by children, cats and dogs!

Coaching is mainly about personal and professional development and achieving the client's goals through individual sessions and support. However, knowing basic economic concepts and tools can be helpful in some cases. Please read the article about the economics of personal development. Economics is considered a social science, although it contains elements of exact sciences. This dichotomy metaphorically translates into personal development in the following way: as a social science, economics helps in understanding people and societies, which develops empathy, understanding of others and the ability to cooperate. These skills are necessary to better build interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively. On the other hand, as an exact science, economics develops the skills of logical thinking, analysis and a critical approach to problems. Thanks to the use of statistical tools, economics teaches you to make decisions based on data and facts, which translates into better problem solving and more effective management of your time and resources. In this way, economics integrates social and analytical aspects, which supports holistic personal development, combining empathy with logic and enabling a comprehensive approach to life's challenges. This is the main topic of this issue. What else?

The central element of coaching is acceptance - both acceptance of yourself and other people, which creates the foundations for effective work on change and development. Unlike therapy, coaching focuses more on achieving specific goals than on solving emotional problems. A professional coach not only listens carefully to the client, but also supports him in identifying and overcoming obstacles, thereby stimulating personal and professional development. Thanks to this method, clients learn to cope with difficulties, build better relationships and achieve greater life fulfillment. The content discusses the specific benefits of coaching and what features characterize a professional coach who plays a key role in the process of personal transformation. About this in detail in the article by Dorota Wulczyńska-Dąbrowa.

The article Emotions in crisis by Paulina Janikowska presents a view on the display of emotions and their impact on the life of an individual and a community. Among others The article provides valuable information about different types of emotional crises and ways to deal with them. It enriches the reader with knowledge about the differences between stress and crises and the need for an open discussion about social norms regarding the expression of emotions. The text is rich in personal experiences and thoughts, which may be inspiring for readers looking for a deeper understanding of this topic.

We will be honored to read our quarterly magazine relaxingly outdoors or on the beach. See you in September.
